Join PuddleStompers™ Nature Exploration for a hands-on family program that invites young naturalists and their caregivers to explore the fascinating world of insects and pollinators!

We’ll begin with a welcome and group discussion to introduce the idea of pollination and the many insects that help plants grow—going beyond bees and butterflies to discover beetles, flies, moths, and more.

Children will head outdoors for a guided garden exploration, observing plants and insects up close and learning how different pollinators play an important role in our ecosystems.

Next, we’ll get moving with a pollination game, pretending to be bees and learning how bees use a special “dance” to let others know when pollen is nearby.

Each child will create a STEAM-based take-home project—a garden insect identification coloring book they can use throughout the spring and summer as they continue spotting insects in their own neighborhoods.
